iKML is the studio’s thirty-third project, and like RMQA it checks a file before it goes somewhere it’s hard to take back. Map files move between Google Earth, My Maps, drone apps and GIS programs, and each import quietly drops or bends something: styles, timestamps, folders, a point typed in backwards. iKML opens a KML, KMZ or GeoJSON file, shows what’s inside and names each problem with a code and the placemark and line where it sits. The launch post shows it on real export layouts.
