KeyValueStore Tools 0.2.1 Moves to the Newest Redis and Valkey Patches
The monthly patch check added in KeyValueStore 0.2 found real changes on its first run. The eight newer Redis patches matched the recorded data, but the five newer Valkey patches didn’t: Valkey 7.2.15 dropped the sanitize-dump-payload setting and the matching ACL rule, and an ACL file with an unclosed selector, which used to crash Valkey, now gets an error on every Valkey line. Valkey 9.1.3 also reads hexadecimal percentiles again.
Version 0.2.1 moves the Memory Calculator, Config Checker and ACL Builder to the newest patch of all 15 Redis and Valkey lines, recorded again on real servers, with no differences in replay. Ask about an older patch and the command line now says which version it checks as. The release post has the details, and the 0.2.1 package is on GitHub.
