UnGathered 0.2 Reports the Products and Articles That Were Never Made

UnGathered 0.1 could only check what it found. A product folder nobody created left nothing to check, and the README said as much. Version 0.2 adds a roster: a text or CSV list kept outside the collection, such as a product export or an issue plan. Every name on it needs a matching item, so a planned article that was never written becomes a gap. An empty roster is refused, because a truncated export is likelier than an empty plan.

A ** segment now reaches folders at any depth, the way it does in .gitignore, and exclude keeps drafts and templates out of the count. A symlinked folder a deep pattern can’t see into is still an error unless an exclude removes everything below it.

The new GitHub Action runs the scan on pull requests, with an annotation for each problem, a summary table and the JSON and HTML reports as an artifact. An independent review before the release caught the Action creating its report folder before the scan had checked where it was, which could put a folder inside the collection. UnGathered now makes report folders itself, after the scan and only outside it. CI now covers Windows as well as Linux and macOS. The release has the binaries, and the launch note covers what the scanner checks.
