Abbreviatory Now Reads Build Tool Output
Abbreviatory 0.5.0 reads what cargo, tsc, ESLint, Gradle, Maven, npm and pnpm print. Each compiler or linter error becomes one item named by its file and line, with its snippet underneath, and the tool’s own count heads the report. Failing tests from cargo, Gradle and Maven are tracked by name between runs, and a test that didn’t run because the build broke is reported as not run, not fixed. The browser demo has four build samples to try.
Two independent reviews found seventeen problems, all fixed with tests before release. It follows 0.4.0, which added diffs, HTTP responses and directory listings.
